Simon Hackett Old Vine Grenache 2015
Bright medium-depth wine with pink and purple tinges.
Complex bouquet of black cherries, cinnamon, clove, coffee, vanilla, herbal notes and hints of green peppercorns.
The flavors are straightforward, black cherry and spice, while the texture is delicate, almost soft.
Aged 8 months in second fill 225 litre American oak barrels.
Excellent with stews and casseroles as well as pizza and pasta dishes, also good with hard cheeses.
READINESS FOR DRINKING
Can be drunk now but it will evolve over the next 10 years.
