Dark cherry red, ruby.
Inviting red fruit aromas of fresh cherries, red currants and raspberries combine with black fruit notes, stony minerality and subtle notes of pepper spice, lavender and garrigue herb.
Vibrant red berry and raspberry fruit show early on the palate providing a pillowy, velvet like feeling. Some white pepper spice provides an additional layer of interest and a super fine tannin presence provides some balance and focus to the fruit.
Rhône-styled blends pair well with Mediterranean flavours and roasted meats. Lamb is a classic pairing, braised or grilled. Rich stews and lightly spiced sauces compliment wines with pepper and dense fruit profiles.
