La Croix Ducru-Beaucaillou Saint-Julien AOC 2014
Dark colored wine with a purple patch.
It reveals an expressive nose of vanilla, dried ink, beeswax and dark berry notes.
On the palate is strong, thick and ample. Very complex and unctuous, it offers a good smoothness and a persistent finish. Difficult to call it a ‘second wine.
Aged in 60% new French oak barrels for between 12 and 18 months.
Best served with all kind of meat, especially roast lamb, duck and grilled dishes. Excellent with herbal cheese.
