Finca La Emperatriz Reserva 2012
A ruby red glow with garnet reflections.
Intense aroma of ripe fruits, black cherry, blackcurrant and plum, together with the tertiary aromas of oak ageing.
The palate is smooth and supple, with herbs and orange peel notes reappearing. Long, elegant finish.
Aged in 70% American oak and 30% French oak barrel. A third part of the wine goes through malolactic fermentation in barrels.
Goes well with tapas or main course with grilled beef, burgers and BBQ.
