Finca La Emperatriz Garnacha Cepas Viejas 2014
Colour of strawberry jam of medium density with a hint of violet at the edges.
It is a remarkably perfumed wine, with a subtle complexity: cherries in liqueur, violets, white pepper and wild strawberries.
A long wine with a tremendous aftertaste and persistent finish.
Aged in new and second-year French oak for 11 months.
A good barbecue drinking, Garnacha seems to like a bit of smoke. Great with Italian food, especially with dishes that contain cooked tomato and aubergine.
