Domaine Belle Hermitage Rouge AOC 2012
Intense red with deep purple glints.
Black fruit dominate the nose. After some time of breathing notes of vanilla, sweet spices such as clove and nutmeg, cocoa bean and mocha come out with a final floral touch which give the wine an ethereal touch.
On the palate it is very present, massive, and roasted notes take over. The tannins are powerful yet smooth; a wonderful harmony with great richness.
Entirely in oak barrels for 26 months, with 50% new barrels and 50% 1 year old barrels.
Game, marinated meats or truffles which will reveal the wine at its best.
READINESS FOR DRINKING
5 to 8 years after the vintage will show its full potential.
