Château Vieux Pourret Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2014
Intense garnet with vivid ruby reflections.
Complex nose with black fruits (cassis and blueberries), subtle notes of spiciness and finely wooded chocolate.
In the mouth, the attack is well controlled, finely peppered, with crunchy tannins and a tasty finish of a beautiful intensity.
Ageing is carried out partially in oak barrels for between 6 months and a year, the rest being aged in concrete.
Venison dishes or hard cheeses are ideal food choices as well as chocolate desserts.
