Château Haut-Vigneau Pessac-Leognan 2014
Bright red garnet color.
Aromas of black fruits, notes of blackberry and black cherry are followed by more complex aromas of toasted bread and vanilla with a delicate hint of wood. Especially pleasant thanks to its balance between volume and tannic richness.
Silky tannins take over the suppleness with a great intensity. The finish is quite aromatic with notes of toasted bread and figs.
Barrel aging for 15 to 18 months.
In Bordeaux, lamb and Pessac-Leognan wine is one of the most popular matchings. However, any grilled, braised or stewed course with beef, duck, pork, veal or game dish is perfect.
