Intense fruit expression with black fruit such as blackberry and cassis well mixed with red fruit such as cherry and plums. Slightly spiced with anise and cedar notes. Delicate fresh violets fragrance.
Big structure and good volume, balance with a remarkable acidity.
The wine was aged in 225 lts new French oak barrels for 8 months. After that period, the wine was aged for another 18 months in 33% in new French oak barrels, 33% in used French oak barrels and 34% in 75hl oak vats
Enjoy with an Angus loin in myrtle berry sauce, beef tenderloin and spinach cooked with cream cheese and almonds; or venison with grilled seasonal vegetables.
